According to NamUS, Connecticut currently has 170 open missing person cases. Here's one of them:
On the night of 4/6/09, Awilda Marrero, 43 years old, left her home in the area of Asnuntuck St. in Enfield, CT without her purse, cell phone or other personal belongings. She left wearing only a grey nightgown and a brown jacket. She didn't wear any shoes*. Awilda hasn't been seen or heard from since that night. There weren't any details about what could've caused her to leave so abruptly and without any personal belongings, even something simple as a pair of shoes.
Awilda is 5'1", 165lbs, brown hair and eyes, and she's of Hispanic/Latino origins. She has a scar on her upper right arm and pierced ears. She also has 2 tattoos, one located on her left butt cheek that has the name "Mike" and one located on her right knee/thigh area that has the name "Joel."

*April in CT can go either way temperature wise. It can be 20 degrees or 60 degrees depending on the weather. I'm not sure if the night of her disappearance was a cold one or not, but the lows are still in the 40's overnight which would make it very uncomfortable to walk around without footwear.
